Get Your Ruby Fix Here!

Photobucket
A young street vendor sketches while waiting for customers, Zacatecas, Mexico

With customers scarce,
He picks up his pen,
And draws to his heart’s content.

And now we all know
The bent of his soul—
And where all his pesos went!

The boy seems so engrossed in his drawing! Such a sad and yet painfully beautiful scene!

I like the picture. I am so naive. I cannot see that he is a dealer. Maybe that's why I'm never anxious in great cities. I don't know what to look out for.
The picture is great and the lonely artist is only filling me with sympathy.
Poor boy, poor lost youths. I now spot a police car on the other side of the street.
Makes me feel so sad.

Felisol, please set your heart at rest! He is selling candy, not drugs, and while he has no customers, he is doing what he really loves to do: sketching.

I have only just discovered this site. I thought Ruby Tuesday has defunct! I'm so glad it's still surviving. Thank you.

I really feel relieved. You know, I just had to come back and see what the other comments were like. I've sent that special young man lots of good thoughts. May his art become his living and angels watch over him.
